Morgan was featured in a Safe Sex for Men and Women educational video that focused on AIDS education and Prevention. The proceeds was donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She serves as a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan has been involved in numerous fundraising initiatives in support of the condition and been a witness before the Congressional Special Committee regarding AIDS Education. She serves on the board of Governors of APLA as well as Amfar. C. Everett Koop asked her several times to assume his spot in AIDS activities. And she co-hosted an AIDS Awareness Special with anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to be on two occasions on Nightline with regard to AIDS. Morgan was awarded an Emmy Award in Diane English's special Murphy Brown episode that was made specifically for Morgan. The spring season saw Morgan co-starring alongside Joan Rivers as Your Money or Your Wife on ABC TV. The summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon that was created by Von Zerneck/Sertner and included Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. In her next role, Harmony Gold produced Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady together with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan has also been featured in a film, a psychological thriller that was produced by USA Network. The film was a huge success and received the most impressive ratings to date.
